To early to tell what that will mean ultimately, but for those of us not on the road full-time as yet, and in our case at least, still gainfully employed, it means just that…it’s a Monday. Time to focus on the week ahead. And even though there is a lot to do, I’m still feeling the “glow” of the weekend. Even though it was a work weekend, it was very satisfying in that it was quiet time for starting real work on our solar project.
We have two things going in this regard. One is preparation of a battery bay. The other is things panel-related, I chose to take a break from the “bay” and work on tilt brackets, following a pattern found for brackets being sold online. This type of work includes working with pieces of angled aluminum. Lots of cutting and drilling. Pretty basic, but satisfying as pieces are replicated for each of four panels. And, of course there is assembly of the first bracket as a test of how well things are going. In the end, I was pretty satisfied with the progress made, essentially having completed pieces for brackets for 3 of the 4 panels. And, of course I took the requisite photos for our forthcoming Solar Project page. But now…it’s Monday. Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to that OTHER work I go.
